Rating : - Doesn't live up to everything Xerox claims it does
I'm a graphic designer, and when I read the description and reviews on this printer, I thought I hit the jackpot! It has been all downhill from there.

Pros: The printer itself is rather nice looking, and easy to set up right out of the box. It is very easy to install the driver and Xerox technical support is fantastic. The output of the pages is very good, although ink-stick technology has several little "dots" to make up the image. I didn't particularly like the way it printed graphics. They looked a bit grainy and separated. The printer had very few jams and was able to accept cardstock, which was a huge factor for me. I liked the fact that the printer, unlike laser printers, kept the sheets flat (they did not have the laser bend)

Cons: The ink sticks are very expensive. Even the non-OEM brands I found to be expensive. I easily spent $600 in on month on ink. The printer is also noisy. It takes a very long time to warm up and get going. It also makes a lot of noise when you are not operating it. There is a function to "remove light strips" which are strips of bands that go down the page. This function had to be run for me weekly, usually after I had just ran a bunch of jobs and everything was wasted. You can't shut the printer off, or you will waste ink. If you look at the printer wrong, it will use ink on you. The blues/aquas print very dark and the ink flakes off. Don't even try to use it on glossy paper. It will flake right off. Not good for printing labels / glossy stock in my opinion.
